Show and Tell

Our first meeting was a lot of fun beginning this year.  Rhea is our new Guild President.  We learned how to do English paper piecing.  Sorry I was busy making it so I didn't get pictures of that.  Here are the show and tell pictures.
I think this is Rhea's.  Just a log cabin with a snowman.  So cute.

This is also Rhea's and it is a cross stitched framed piece.

Becky finished her last year's block of the month already.  It is ready for the quilter.

Becky also finished this wool Baltimore quilt.  She said it took her two years.  It is beautiful.

Becky also finished her round robin and has it bound and with the embellishments on it.

Our new member, Dawn has come with show and tell too.  She makes these bags for a service project for an animal charity.

This is for her bed.

Jodi made a string quilt.

Claudia made this Around the world using the interfacing grid.

The photo above is the back to the quilt below.  I think Claudia is teaching this.  It almost looks like the Hawaiian appliqued quilts.

Kay made this using the block of the month blocks from last year and some more.

Bev made two of these for her twin grand daughters.  The only difference is the piping on the binding so the girls can tell them apart.

Shauna has been busy.  She made a jelly roll race, and the chevron quilt below and quilted them her self.

I love this quilt.  Crystal just got this back from the quilter.  She also did the next two quilts.  I am impressed.

This is also Crystals.  It was made from our guild mystery quilt a couple of years ago.

Keela has been enjoying making smaller projects.  She made some pillows and mini quilts.

Keela also made this garden quilt and the metro ring quilt below.

This is another one of Keela's.

Marie has been making lots of hexies.  This sure turned out well.

She has also been up cycling some bags from the thrift store.  She uses the handles and the top band and redoes the bag part.

Rhea used some panels and accented them with log cabin blocks.

Last but not least Sandy made some Charm Bags.  What a fun guild we had.  It is a lot of fun.  You are all invited and our next meeting is Febuary 15th at Ruby's Inn.
