Sending Our Love

Our Panguitch Ladies are sending our love to the mother of the family that died in the plane crash near here.  Our hearts and sympathy go out to her.  I won't mention the names of those that helped because I wasn't there for the whole creation but the quilt sure turned out cute.

This quilt was so fun, not that I did much on the quilt but I loved visiting with my friends.  I love getting together with them.  We have so much fun.  We laugh so hard we cry.  We had a small group tonight but the group earlier was much bigger.  All the ladies down here are fabulous.

Open Sew Night

These two Churn Dash Quilts are Jerilu's daughters.  They both made one and look how different they turned out.  Aren't they so cute?  The one above looks more modern.  If you look at the two spots where there looks like the blocks are missing, they are just really light.  I love the look.  Both are so happy.  These were quilted by Connie, I think she lives in Parawan.

Now if I remember right this one is LaVee's.  The red and black are so pretty.  She has her quilts quilted in Kanab by a friend.  This is beautiful.  Our Wednesday sewing nights will resume in August.  Everyone is welcome.

Dianne's Quilts

These are Dianne's latest quilts. This farm one is for a grand daughter that is soon to be born.
This is one of the cutest baby quilts I have ever seen.  It is perfect for the farmers daughter or grand daughter.

Do you remember these blocks from last year.  This is the round robin quilt we did as a guild.  Dianne mixed the blocks up a bit so that the owl would fit in the center.  I think I will do that too.  Her quilt turned out darling.

Angeli's Handy Work

Angeli won a bundle of triangles at Quilt Walk and This is what she made from them.  It is a bright, happy quilt.  Below is a hot pad she is making.  Sorry it is upside down.  It is cute either way.

Today my son and his beautiful bride get married in the Payson, LDS temple.  We are so happy.

Wednesday Sewing Night

We have had some fun sewing nights and it is nice to be back to the regular schedule.  Everyone is welcome to come Wednesday nights at the Panguitch Senior Citizen building to sew and enjoy each others projects and inspiration.  We start at 6:00pm.  On the third Wednesday we go to Ruby's Inn for quilt guild.  We would love to see any one interested in coming.

This first photo is an Aphagan that Helen made for my son and his wife.  They are getting married the 18th of this month in the Payson Temple.  They are having a reception in Lindon at the Castle Park on Main Street, that evening from 6:30-9:30, if you would like to come.

These two are made by Becky.  She is really making all sorts of stuff lately.  She is amazing.

April is making this jelly roll race but needs to make it bigger.  We will be excited to see it finished.

Becky made this hot pad.  She was able to figure out the pattern to make it in different sizes.

Now isn't this beautiful.  LaVee just got this back from the quilters and it is amazing.  She already has a grand-daughter that has spoken for this one for her wedding quilt.

We have such a good time each week.  Come and join the fun.

Story Book Quilts

Jerilu has made a few story book quilts.  These are from panels and then cut up to make these cute quilts.

I think the panels are by Rylie Blake.  They are really cute.

This one is a Christmas one.

This is another Christmas one.

Now this is Donna's crocheted baby blanket.  It looks like it has little pink hearts going across the whole thing.  She is working on the boarder now and it is exceptional.

Trish's Barbie Clothes

This past sewing night Trish brought a box of Barbie clothes that her mother had made.  This box was quite a treasure.  Her mother has passed away and so these clothes bring her lots of fond memories.  These were extreamly well made.  Actually I don't think I have ever seen such well made barbie clothes.

You are only seeing a small portion from this box.  I could not believe the work that went into these clothes.

This coat would not lay right for me to take a picture of the other side but let me say it was darling.

Square dance dresses are so fun.

Here was one of the piles from the box.  We couldn't believe how many were there.  Now this box was full of the unfinished ones.  They all need snaps and clasps or velcro.

There were several western vests.  The denim ones even had the western yolk.

I would call this a Love Boat Dress.  My soon to be daughter in law had no idea what a Love Boat dress was.  That sure dates me.

I remember kids in my high school wearing these types of jackets.

Trish also had patterns for clothes for Dean Doll and another doll that I had never heard about.  Those patterns were for more georgous doll clothes, more of the designer type.  I loved seeing all of these.  I think my girls would have really enjoyed the Barbie clothes fashion show too.

Our Busy Panguitch Ladies

Our Panguitch ladies are still making all sorts of things.  Dianne is making the Halloween quilt, one for each of her daughter and daughter-in-laws.  They are all so fun.

Becky has been utilizing her embroidery machine.  This snowman quilt she made is adorable.  She made it for her daughter for Christmas.  The back is darling too.  It looks just like a gift.

Now because I am not a very good knitter these are impressive to me.  LaVee made these for the ladies for Christmas.  They are dish cloths.  Aren't they darling?  I got the yellow flower and I love it.  I haven't used it yet, I need to look at it a little longer before putting it to use.

Angeli is making this cowboy boot quilt.  She has machine quilted some and then is going to hand quilt some.  We are so glad she moved back.  Below is the back to her quilt and I think that is beautiful fabric.

I hope you are all ready to start this new year with goals of finishing some of your previously started projects and creating all sorts of fun things.
