October Guild Show and Tell

Of course show and tell was fun this month.  Our group really has made some exquisite quilts.  This one is one of LaRetta's.  It is made with a square that is a little bit larger the circle you place on top of the square.  With raw edges you sew around the circle that is on top of the square.  You then quarter the circle and you have all of those little blocks.  I made one and it turned out cute.  It is on my bed now.

This is Crystal.  She made this Buttermilk Basin wall hanging.  It is a wool appliqué pattern.  It turned out really well.

This is also Crystals, cute.

I think Crystal made this from one of the Row by Row patterns.  It may have even been one of the patterns from Stitchin' it Up in Cedar.

This is Katherin's.  It is the back of the quilt but it is still beautiful.

This one is made like a Log Cabin quilt if I remember correctly.  It is stunning.  It is even more beautiful when you see it in person.

Rhea made this T-Shirt quilt.  It was amazing.  In fact it didn't even look like a t-shirt quilt.  She quilted it also.

Rhea made this one with her embroidery machine.

This is a bag that Crystal made for her feather weight.

Katherine put this diamond quilt together.

I think this it also Katherine's.

Lyllian made this one.  I think it was called love letters or some thing like that.

Sandy made these beautiful items.  The pillow below is one of the monthly bench pillows.  It is great.

Becky finished her Halloween quilt.  I think Roxanna, here in Panguitch did the quilting.

LaRetta took this class at Quilt Walk.  It is called Bird on a Wire.

This is also LaRetta's.

She made this jelly roll race, too.  Notice the cute flowers in the corner.

Sandy made the jack-o-lantern pillow.
These ladies are so talented and friendly.  They really make our guild fun.

Sewing Night Show and Tell

What a nice evening.  We love show and tell at our regular sewing nights.  The amazing quilts that everyone makes are so fun to share with everyone.

This is Lana's.  It really turned out nice.

LaRetta made this Jacob's Ladder.  This is her second one.  I am excited to see her recent Metro Rings quilt.

Helen made this one.  She used her scraps and then added the vine and flowers.  It turned out darling.

Lana made this one also.  She can whip out quilts faster than my kids eat their dinner.  I think I just sit down and they are getting up.  Lana really does get a lot done.  She is fabulous.

Seasons of Home in Midway, Utah

Seasons of Home is a darling shop in Midway, Utah.  It is not very big but it has a lot to offer.  These photos were taken in September.  I have been busy painting my house before it snows so I didn't get this out.  But they have all sorts of kits and cute fabrics. This quilt looks easy like a jelly roll race I think it is really fun, very festive for the Holidays.
Yes, I bought this kit.  It is really a cute quilt.  In fact I did get the top sewn but I had to change it up a bit.  Yes it isn't done for this Halloween but I am hoping I can get it done for next.

These are just strips and that is super simple.

This quilt really appeals to me for some reason.  The dresden plate is a pattern that I really like.

Get ready for Thanksgiving.  I think this is a Buggy Barn pattern.

Pillows are so fun.

Foxes are great.  Very Cute.

Some of the ladies here just love this quilt.  I picked up the pattern for them and I am excited to see their results.

This looks like a wool sweater pattern.

Here are a few of the other items they have in the shop.  This is a wool nativity.  They have softies, needle work patterns and more.  This is a darling shop.  If you get to that beautiful town of Midway, stop in.  It is up Provo Canyon before you get to Heber.
