Purple Flower Block
 This is the first block that I made for the At Home in the Garden Quilt. The pattern is quite beautiful but I changed the colors for my quilt. I dyed the wool and added the pattern on the pot for added texture. It is just a long stitch with a french knot in the corners. The flowers and leaves are done with at long whip stitch, with contrasting thread so that my stitches will show. |
