Casto Canyon

This was actually a couple of months ago.  I was looking at my photos and thought you might want to see the beautiful Casto Canyon.  It had been raining.  We have these washes that when it rains we get flash floods.  They can look like raging rivers.  I think it is beautiful.

Panguitch Quilters in November

Our sewing group had some fun stuff this last Wednesday.  We meet every Wednesday. We have so much fun.   Everyone is invited so if you are ever in Panguitch on a Wednesday evening at 6:00 please come and join us.  It is such a wonderful time to get together to see what everyone is doing.  Show and tell is my favorite.
Jerilu is making this for a grandson.  He will be getting married.

This quilt is so cute.  It is much better in person.  Becky even quilted it on her Bernina.

Becky is making this wreath.  She has something she is hanging in the middle.  I am sure it will be cute.

Jerilu just got this fabric in to sell at H&R hardware store.  It is so cute.  I am very tempted.
These are some of the blocks on the panel up close.

Childrens Justice Center Doll House Festival

Each year the Children's Justice Center has a Doll House Festival each year in Provo, Utah.  This particular house was my daughters favorite.  She is a fan of the Frozen movie.  It was well done.

This is the inside of the Frozen Castle.
The houses were judged by the people that attended, for peoples choice award.  There were many cute ones.  They were all for sale to benefit the Children's Justice Center.

This was my favorite house. The outside was so nice.
This was a cute lemonade stand.

These animals look like they are made out of the stuff casts are made of.  I love them but have now where to put them, so I didn't buy them.

I love puppets.

This is darling.  I would love to be able to make this.  I bought a baby quilt there too.  They had silent auctions there too.  There were all sorts of things you could buy.  I really had a good time.  This really happened in October though.

Quilt Guild Christmas Party

Our Guild celebrates Christmas in November.  December is so busy we take that month off.  We have a lovely party and a load of fun.  This quilt is one of Crystals.  She traveled around Utah to get the patterns from the shops that offered a pattern to a row in this quilt.  She always does such beautiful work.
We have a pot luck dinner.  Our President, Gwen, brought the ham and made cheesy potatoes, and rolls. We had so much we were very full.

This is our President Gwen.  She has done such a great job this year.  She is demonstrating the plus sign quilt.  I think it turned out really well.

We played QUILT which is just like bingo but with different letters.  Roxanna won one of the games.
LaRetta is giving out our birthday gifts (thread) and door prizes.
Becky is showing her denim quilt she made.
This is also Becky's, it is her half hexie quilt.
LaRetta's Jacobs Ladder.
LaRetta's kaleidoscope quilt.
LaRetta's Blue Skies.
Tanya's flower quilt.  I love the boarder too.  That turned out really well.
Tanya's Halloween Pillow.
I think this was Tanya's too.  It is an Under the Garden Moon Pattern.  I wish the photo's turned out better.  It is really darling.

Sandy made these.
I love the zipper.
Sandy also made the Nativity Pillow.

Sheree made these quilts.  She used pannels and added to them.  She is so talented.  I think they are for her grand daughters.

Pat made these beautiful quilts.  She really has an eye for color.  They are beautiful.

Keela made this with her grand daughter.  It is really cute.
Crystal has a son serving on a LDS mission in New Zealand.  She made this for him for Christmas.
Crystal made these cute pillows.

This Merry Go Round Quilt is one of the ones I plan on doing.  I really love it.

These are close ups of Crystals row quilts.  It is so cute.

This is Gwen's.  I can't remember the name of it.

This is one of my favorites of Gwen's.  I love the wool and cotton mix.
